Clinical Quality Specialist, Long Term Care

The kind of work you’ll be doing

Clinical Implementation tasks include:

  • Supporting our clients (long term care homes, health care regions) in mapping clinical workflows and ensuring that our products are tailored to the sector specific needs of Long Term Care
  • Prioritizing work and managing timelines to meet implementation requirements
  • Training and implementing Evidence Based Practice tools to the front-line nurses at the point of care
  • Working collaboratively with the Client Services Team to achieve deliverables
  • Acting as a project clinician and liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to create and define clinical requirements to optimize the usability of our clinical content

Quality assurance tasks include:

  • Ensuring that our Clinical Support Tools are clinically correct and reflective of current practices
  • Ensuring that requests from our clients are captured and adapted appropriately
  • Identifying safety concerns and facilitating resolutions with other team members
  • Providing clinical guidance and advice to our clients
  • Maintaining clear documentation of internal and external processes

Ideal Qualifications

  • You are a registered RN
  • You have 3 - 5 years' experience within the Long Term Care sector, gerontology or elder care 
  • You have minimum 3 years experience in a healthcare setting
  • You have thorough knowledge and understanding of Point Click Care
  • You have proven research experience, and participate in policy committees (or equivalent)
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills; presentation skills a strong asset
  • You enjoy interacting directly with clients
  • You enjoy finding novel solutions to unique problems
  • You have outstanding attention to detail
  • You enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced team environment while maintaining a professional relationship with our clients.

Skills that would be considered an asset 

  • Experience with change management
  • Previous experience managing projects
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Bilingual in English and French
